Had a fantastic run after work. My favorite 11km loop that includes the crescent heights hill usually takes me 54-58mins. Today I had my fast shoes, and a lot of pent up energy from a very busy and high pressure work week. As soon an I stepped onto the pavement I felt like I was flying. It felt so good to push myself and release the tension and stress I had been carrying. Did the loop in 48mins and felt great the entire time. I was pushing my high end of intensity but I didn't feel it. Now I just need to harness that same internal drive when I am in a race situation.
